Are you looking for new ways to produce content that engages and excites your audience? This blog post will show you how to turn your blog into multiple media sources. Using different formats and types of content can keep your readers engaged and coming back for more. Keep reading to learn how.
What Is The Point of Content Creation?
Inbound marketing is all about content creation. Through content creation, you can provide free and valuable information to your audience, attract potential customers to your website, and engage existing customers.
Content creation can take various forms, including blog posts, infographics, e-books, white papers, guides, webinars, and more. The important thing is to provide content that is interesting and useful to your audience.
How can I use content creation for my business?
There are many ways you can use content creation to promote your business. Traditional marketing methods, such as print advertisements and television commercials, are costly and not consistently effective. Content creation is a more cost-effective and efficient way to reach your target audience.
Social media marketers can create content to produce engaging posts that generate website traffic. By creating informative and entertaining content, you can build trust and credibility with your audience.
How to Turn Your Blog Into Multiple Sources of Media
Now that we know the significance of content creation, let’s look at how to turn your blog into multiple media sources.
Identifying Content Goals
The first step is to identify your content goals. What do you want to achieve with your content? Do you want to generate leads, build brand awareness, or engage existing customers? Once you know your content goals, you can create and repurpose content aligned with those goals.
Identifying Channels for Content
Now that you know what you wish to achieve with your additional content, it’s time to identify the channels through which you will share it. There are many ways to distribute your content, including social media, email marketing, paid advertising, and more. Choosing the proper social channels to reach your target audience is the most important thing.
You can repurpose written content, such as blog posts, in various ways. Here are just a few ways you can take previously written content and utilize it across different social networks:
- Create an infographic from a blog post
- Turn a blog post into a podcast.
- Create a video from a blog post.
- Repurpose a blog post into an email marketing campaign.
- Create social media posts from a blog post.
Let’s go in-depth with these suggestions, and explain how you can create unique content from already written blog posts.
Creating an Infographic from a Blog Post
Consider creating an infographic if you have a blog post heavy on data and statistics. People love visuals; an infographic is a great way to make complex information more digestible. You can use free online tools like Canva to create beautiful and professional-looking infographics.
Infographics can be posted on social media or embedded on your website or blog. You can also submit infographics to infographic directories for additional exposure. Pro tip: Pinterest is an excellent platform for sharing infographics.
Turning a Blog Post into a Podcast
If you have a knack for talking and enjoy being in front of the camera, consider turning one of your old blog post into a podcast. This is a great way to reach people who prefer consuming content in audio form, as well as a way to connect with a broader audience beyond your blog.
You can use your blog articles as scripts or work with a podcast development team (like M3 Branding Creative) to create custom podcast content.
Creating a Video from a Blog Post
Another good idea for repurposing written content is to turn a single blog post into a video. You can create a simple slideshow-style video using PowerPoint or Keynote or hire a professional video production team to produce a high-quality video for you.
Once your video is created, you can upload it to YouTube and other popular video-sharing platforms. You can also embed the video on your website or blog or share it on social media channels. Pro tip: A Youtube Channel is a great way to increase brand awareness and reach new customers.
Repurposing a Blog Post into an Email Marketing Campaign
Email marketing is a great way to stay in touch with your customers and generate leads. You can repurpose a blog post into an email marketing campaign by creating a series of emails sharing the blog post’s main points and valuable content.
Bloggers, businesses, or organizations can use an email service provider like MailChimp or Constant Contact to create and distribute an email marketing campaign. You can also embed sign-up forms on your website or blog to encourage people to subscribe to your email list.
Lead-generating email copy is a great way to increase sales and revenue for your business. You may want to work with an email marketing expert (like M3 Branding Creative) to create high-converting email copy as part of your content strategy.
Creating Social Media Posts from a Blog Post
You can also create social media posts from your blog posts. This is a great way to drive traffic to your website or blog and increase engagement with your content. You can use Canva or work with a graphic designer to create beautiful images for social media.
Content creators can scale down content within a long-form blog post into easily digestible social media posts as part of content creation for social media. For example, if you have a blog post with tips on social media marketing, you can create a series of posts that each share one tip from the blog post.
When creating social media posts, use relevant hashtags and @mentions to reach a wider audience. You can also use paid advertising on different platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to boost your posts and reach a larger audience.
Conclusion
When it comes to content marketing, one of the best ways to get the most bang for your buck is to repurpose old content into new, evergreen content. For example, this could mean turning an old blog post into a new video or infographic. Not only does this save you time and money, but it also ensures that your content is engaging and relevant. In particular, video content is extremely popular and is a great way to reach a broad audience. So if you’re looking for ways to market your brand or business, repurposing old content into new, evergreen content is a great place to start.
By repurposing your content, you can reach new audiences and generate leads for your business. Turning your blog into multiple media sources, spread across various social platforms, can increase brand awareness, drive traffic to your website, and create more sales and revenue for your business.

There are so many great ideas here. The days of blogs being one dimensional are so far gone. These days, there’s so much you can do with them.
I need to get better at turning my content into new things. It’s one of the blog to-do items I want to work on this fall once the kids are back at school and I have a bit more time. With a food website, videos would do well but it’s just not my forte.
This is perfect. You can use your blog post to create so many different social media posts and share them throughout the month and even after that to keep traffic coming to your website.
This is perfect, and it’s why I love Blogging. I needed this. I have amazing old blog posts just sitting there, and I always wondered what to do with them.
